Carrick Creek Road Falls is a roadside attraction a couple of miles east of Table Rock State Park in upstate South Carolina. If you’re near the park, it makes sense to drive by and get a picture.
I have several books about waterfalls in the North and South Carolina. I’m careful not to blog about any of the attractions that are on private property unless visitors are welcome to drop by unannounced. This is not one of those places. I’m only including it because you don’t have to trespass in order to see the falls. They are clearly visible from the road, especially in winter.
I learned about this waterfall from the book, Waterfall Hikes of Upstate South Carolina. The map point below will take you to the exact location where I took the above picture.
