Todd Creek Falls is a beautiful waterfall in Six Mile—a rural area near Clemson, South Carolina. There is a gravel pull-off on the opposite side of the street. Cross the street and walk downstream on the left side of the creek. After about ⅓ of a mile, you’ll see the falls. You can’t miss it.
This area represents an odd contrast. It is not nice at all. In fact, it’s one of the creepier places I’ve hiked to see a waterfall. The pathway follows power lines and the trail is used by lots of animals, including horses judging by the tracks and piles of crap. The weeds are overgrown and filled with trash. Check yourself frequently for ticks and used needles.
There were dead things all over the place—a dead doe, a headless opossum, and a ribcage from what I think was a dog. Oddly, the view of the falls is worth the walk. It’s a really impressive sight and the overlook lends itself well to photography. That said, if you hear any banjo music, turn around and walk back to your car post-haste.

I learned about this waterfall from a book that I own and highly recommend.
