The Buffalo Bill Museum & Grave is an attraction atop Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado. Entry is free and the site features restrooms and a cafe.

The Museum illustrates the life, times, and legend of William F. Cody. It includes exhibits about Buffalo Bill’s life and the Wild West shows, Native American objects, and firearms. See Sitting Bull’s bow and arrows, Buffalo Bill’s show outfits, Frederick Remington’s “Portrait of a Ranch Hand,” and many other objects from the Old West in the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave.

It’s a short stroll along a paved pathway from the parking lot to the gravesite.

If you’re in the area, you may also want to visit the nearby Lookout Mountain Nature Preserve with its Nature Center and historic Boettcher Mansion.
